"This past summer, June 2013, I was spending a week in Naples with my daughter and her family. While there I had a bad fall which landed me in the hospital with a broken nose and 3 compression fractures in my back. My face was swollen so bad my nose could not be set and nothing could be done for my back as well. My daughter told me about Dr. Bergtold and that maybe he could help give me some relief. He immediately started with acupuncture twice a day which significantly reduced the swelling within 3 days. But that’s when the bruising set in. He continued with the acupuncture and within 4 weeks the swelling was gone and my coloring was almost normal. As for my fractured back, he worked on it the same days, but after the acupuncture treatments. I couldn't lie down, so while sitting, he went below the injured area and began using his little clicker, I found out later it was called an activator. To my surprise, after 6 weeks I was able to make the long trip back home.
